A week ago we had the privilege of photographing Zachary and Stephanie's wedding in Champaign-Urbana, IL. The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Mary's Church in Champaign. It was the first time that either of us had been in that church and it was very beautiful with a lot of stained glass, and a lot of natural light. The wedding party wore classic orange and blue colors in honor of their alma mater, which was really cool. Afterward we took some portraits on campus in various places. This was another chance for us to use our new 35mm and 85mm lenses. It's been a while since we've had an 85mm, but we're really gotten to enjoy it between this wedding and the one before. Nothing can make things pop quite like that lens. Things then moved to the Alice Campbell Alumni Center where the cocktail hour and reception were held. Both of us have been to events in Alice Campbell before, but never a wedding reception so it was cool to how the room was transformed into a wedding reception venue. Not only was the room beautiful but there was even a chocolate fountain! :)We'd like to thank Zachary and Stephanie for letting us be a part of the wedding day!
