This past weekend we got to kick off our year of wedding and engagement photography with a photo session with Tony and Annie.  They chose to do portraits in downtown Urbana, and the venue definitely did not disappoint.  While we've done some photo sessions in downtown Champaign, this was the first session we'd done in downtown Urbana.  There were tons of cool places to grab photos even without leaves on the trees yet.  Downtown Urbana also has a new art installation that includes some old shipping containers which was a fun place to take some photos as well, so be on the look out for even more photos from the Downtown parts of Urbana this coming year!It was great to hang out with Tony and Annie and get to know them a better, we're excited to photographing their wedding also this summer so be watching for more of these two in the months to come.  Speaking of weddings, we have a lot of them on deck this year along with a few vacations across the US, so be on the lookout for weddings, engagements, landscapes, architecture, and maybe some aerial video thanks to a new equipment purchase in the off season.This work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
