The Windy City
Prior to my return to Chambana for summer class, I attended a banquet for my sister up in a suburb of Chicago. Following the banquet, I made my way to Adler Planetarium to investigate the skyline of Chicago. I got the idea from a friend of mine, Brad Meyer (http://www.bradmeyerphoto.com), and decided to give it a try. I'm wanting to take some more skyline pics of the cities that I visit and decided that it would be good with something pretty simple. The vantage point turned out great and their was no obstruction from fog or rain of the city. Temperature was the only thing that took me by surprise. Combined with the high winds and the below average temps, it was a pretty chilly experience that I was not dressed for at all. I wasted no time in getting the shots and heading out, trying not to rush the work. When the stitching and editing was finished, this is my final product. It is full size at about 27 megapixels, this way you can zoom in and enjoy the beauty since it will look fuzzy when compressed and small....just don't go selling it.Photo Copyright: JD Maloney
