The Carl Woese IGB

So recently we went around the Carl Woese IGB at University of Illinois and took some photos of its architecture.  After working there for a few years I (JD) never did a good job of photographing it's design, especially the internal architecture that is very pretty and the recent addition of the Carl Woese memorial in the gatehouse lobby.  While we hope to go back and get a few more exterior shots now that the snow is melting away, we thought we'd share some photos that we have already.  The photos were taken both at night and during the day, to give some perspective on the building during both sets of lighting conditions.  Photographing the interior of the IGB during the evening was surprisingly pretty, especially in the gatehouse where the light coming from the lab building windows helped provide a backlight for some of the displays in the gatehouse. Also just wanted to give you guys the heads up that we have some more wedding/engagement photos on the books for 2015 as well as good amount of travel around the United States, so stay tuned for all those pictures that will be coming throughout the year.  Hope you enjoy!!ND1_1186ND1_1184_BWND1_1183ND1_1182ND1_1180ND1_1291_BWND1_1281_BWND1_1262ND1_1256_BWND1_1253ND1_1251ND1_1246_BWND1_1193_BWCreative Commons LicenseThis work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
