Route 66 Road Show

This past weekend while in Springfield, I got to go downtown for a couple of hours to see the Route 66 roadshow that was parked in downtown.  It was a great chance to photograph a bunch of classic cars.  It felt like the corvette show that came to Champaign this summer, except there was a much larger variety of cars and I had much more time with them.  The downside to it was that they were packed real close together and there were people swarming around a lot of them.  I spent a lot of my time waiting for people to pass by or leave the reflections in the well waxed side panels.  In the end though, I came away with some good shots and got to see some awesome classic cars.  Check out the photos below!This work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
