Oklahoma City | Travel Photography
This past week we got to travel out to the great state of Oklahoma to visit family located in Oklahoma City. Of course while we were there we went out and took some photos of the city. During our visit the city received a good amount of ice the night following our arrival. This made for a really cool scene at many of the places we visited as we got to capture everything covered in ice. We got to visit places such as the Federal Building Memorial site, the Devon Energy Center, the Skydance Bridge, and Lake Overholser. We were also fortunate enough to visit these places both during the day and during the night/evening so we could see them in different lighting conditions. Since we had the day totally open, we decided to hit the golden hour in the morning and the golden hour in the evening as well so we could maximize the amount of time we got in great lighting conditions. While there are definitely more things to visit and see in Oklahoma City, these were the sites we picked for our first of what will likely be many visits. Also we will have to travel back to some of these locations as we'll want to see things when they aren't covered in ice and snow.Hopefully you enjoy the photos and be on the look out, many of these will be available on our prints site soon AND our year in review blog post is right around the corner! This work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
