At the end of June we had the privilege of photographing Keith and Sarah's wedding that took place at the Illini Union in Champaign, IL. This was our first wedding to photograph in the Illini Union and it was a really cool place to take pictures. The south lounge can open up into the banquet rooms behind it creating a great atmosphere and a very beautiful venue. Not only was the venue nice, the weather was also great with sunny skies throughout the afternoon and evening giving us great opportunities for outdoor photos. While it was definitely warm and humid, the quad was beautiful that day; we even were able to make it in to the newly rennovated Lincoln Hall for some photos thanks to the help of timely grad student. Lastly we got to photograph our first wedding where the dueling pianos where reception music providers, and they were awesome! It was really neat to see two guys so comfortable with trading off and on with playing the piano, being hosts for the evening, and having fun together, it made for a fun night for everyone and there was some good dancing going on for sure.
