A couple weeks ago we had the privilege of photographing Alex and Samantha's wedding. The ceremony took place at the Newman Center Chapel with the reception taking place at Memorial Stadium, both in Champaign, IL. This was our first time photographing a wedding in the Newman chapel and it was an absolutely gorgeous venue for a wedding, the bright and sunny day outside shone through all the stained glass windows adding to the beauty. The day also included visits to some popular campus landmarks, a trolley ride, and some time down on the field in Memorial Stadium. The actual reception took place in the Colonnades Club located in the box office part of the stadium with a great view of the field, and close to the Colonnades themselves where we got to take pictures.Both Samantha and Alex are graduates from the University of Illinois, and it was awesome to see a full out Illini wedding with many family and friends as well all graduated from or currently enrolled at the University, a family legacy started two generations prior.Below are some of our favorite photos from the beautiful June wedding.This work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
