In mid July we had the opportunity to photograph Jason and Yulia's wedding at a beautiful farm venue near Paxton, Illinois called Engelbrecht Farm. This property has an amazingly beautiful barn that has two levels of seating and plenty of room for activities. There's also a farmhouse where the wedding party gets ready, as well as multiple pieces of rustic machinery which are great for photo opportunities. The weather was absolutely beautiful that day with a lot of sun, few clouds, and great temperatures that gave us great conditions for photography. A really cool aspect to this wedding was the sparkler send off at the end of the night, which was the first time we've been able to play with photographing sparklers at a wedding. Since it is a farm there is also places where horses are kept which allowed Jason and Yulia to integrate that into their ceremony. Lastly there was a live folk band for the reception which was neat to listen to and they provided great entertainment for the evening.
