Fall at Allerton Park
This fall I've made a couple of trips over to Allerton Park, which is owned by U of I, but is located about 15 miles away near Monticello, IL. The park is full of many trees of different varieties and a vast assortment of statues. Both times I was there in the morning when the park was very quite and had relatively few visitors. Having the park to myself for bit was great as all you could hear were the sounds of birds and squirrels as they chirped in the trees or rummaged about through the leaves that had already fallen to the ground. It was nice to take in the peaceful environment for a change and get away from the busyness of life. Hope you enjoy the photos! This work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
