This past weekend we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding for family of friends who live in the beautiful rolling lands of eastern Illinois. Like the weekend before it was very humid, though this day was a bit cooler. Rain threatened again with some sprinkles coming down on our drive, but they held off and the clouds abated for the wedding and all was well. A cool aspect of this wedding was that while the bride's family was too far away to travel to the wedding (think Europe), they were still able to watch and listen to the wedding via the awesome technology known as Skype. Two families on opposite sides of the globe got the chance to come together even though real travel wasn't possible.After the wedding we had a fun portrait session with the family and they were even kind enough to invite us to stay for some food to follow. We got to watch dogs play in the pond to cool off and enjoyed watching some of the family members fish before we had to leave.
