A couple weeks ago we had the privilege of photographing Crandon and Meghan's wedding on the family farm outside of Champaign. The property was beautiful and while the weather was warm and humid, the rain held off and we had a great environment for the ceremony and outdoor portraits. One of the cool aspects of this wedding was that all activities occurred on the property, with a great indoor venue for the reception located at the barn next door. Everyone had a great time and it was exciting to see so much enthusiasm on the dance floor, especially from all the young ones. We also got to see a cool new reception/wedding activity where tables pooled together money to donate to the honeymoon, with the winning table getting to eat first (after the head table of course). It was a really neat alternative to the dollar dance, that we both thought was genius. We greatly enjoyed getting to witness all the great fun these two families and friends had coming together to celebrate the bride and groom on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
