Last weekend we had the privilege of photographing Corey and Caitlin's engagement photos as well as some family photos at the beautiful Allerton Park outside of Monticello, IL. Fall stuck around a bit later than normal this year so there were still colors remaining in the trees and grasses, as well as a moderately comfortable temperature for a photo session. While both of us have spent a good amount of time out at Allerton taking pictures for fun and attending/photographing weddings (including ours!) this was our first opportunity to use the venue for an engagement or family photo venue. Like always it delivered with too many backdrops to fit them all into a session. It was quite a busy day too as we watched other families and couples having photos taken as well. With the cooler temperatures setting in here this weekend, it looks like we snuck our last formal outdoor session for the year in just in time.You'll see more of Corey and Caitlin on the blog next year as we look forward to also photographing their wedding in (earlier) fall of 2017.
