World Vision ACT:S Coffee House

Back in early December, a RSO on campus called World Vision ACT:S hosted a coffee house at The Loft.  I went for mere enjoyment and to support the cause.  From what I could tell the coffee house was a big hit, with many students and non students attending.  The atmosphere was great and was aided by the first snowfall of the winter (a total of 7 inches fell).  There were many musicians present, a list of which you will see in one of the photos, that kept the music going into the late evening.  A movie was also presented as well as a speech from the president of  World Vision ACT:S at U of I, Jess Libby.  Though I am unsure of the total money raised from the event, I know that it was at least a success in raising awareness on campus and in Chambana.[slideshow]Photos Copyright: JD Maloney
