St. Louis Snow

This past weekend Hilarie and I got the chance to visit friends down in St. Louis and Greenville, IL.  In the days leading up to the trip we watched the forecasted amount of snow vary significantly.  One day we were supposed to get only 1" of snow, the next 5-8" with a "winter storm warning", things kept going back and forth, such is normal for weather.  In the end it looked like we were going to get somewhere between 4-6", and we decided to head down a bit early to try and beat the storm.  So after a quick pack on Friday night we headed out.  While the drive was somewhat treacherous near the end, we made it safely.  The next day between seeing friends we got to hit downtown St. Louis and take some pictures in an area we hadn't been to before.  Due to the construction around the Arch we had to get creative in the city.  Though the snow wasn't as bad as it was back home, a significant amount had still fallen and was slowly starting to melt.  Below are some of the photos we captured while taking a short walk around parts of the city.JDM_0961JDM_0959JDM_0945JDM_0921JDM_0915JDM_0905JDM_0891JDM_0879JDM_0869JDM_0866JDM_0863 Creative Commons LicenseThis work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
