Salt Lake City, UT | Travel Photography
A week or so ago JD got to head out to Salt Lake City, Utah for a work conference. While he was there he was able to get some time in the late evenings and on his last day before his flight out to take some pictures of the beautiful city that finds itself nestled in a valley between beautiful mountain ranges. The weather was nice and temperate at the start of the trip with highs getting well into the 70's during the peak of the day. However, mid way through the visit, a rainy day occurred with rain turning to snow even and dusting the city and the mountains around with a white blanket of a very powdery snow. Just like that the warm temperatures were over and the cool mountain air was in full effect. It was really neat to see Salt Lake City, both of us were in the southern part of the state of Utah earlier this year back in May (see earlier posts) when we went and checked out Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park. There are however many other National Parks in the state that are extremely gorgeous, so even more trips out to Utah will be needed and we hope to visit Salt Lake City together soon when we go out there as well. This work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
