First Game

This past weekend was not only the first home game of the season, it was also the first time I have ever shot a U of I Game during the regular season.  The atmosphere was incredible to say the least.  The sea of orange that eventually filled the stadium made for an excellent evening for a game under the lights.  I got away with many good photos, though not quite as many as I had hoped.  The tempo and style of play makes things a lot different than the good 'ole days of high school football for sure.  Nevertheless, I came back at the end of the day with some good photos, a great learning experience, and many memories.   Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.[slideshow]Photos Copyright: JD Maloney and The Daily Illini
