Drew Senior Session

About a week ago I got to the opportunity to do another senior portrait session.  Since I was already going to Springfield for another occasion I did the shoot there in downtown Springfield.  It had been a long time since I had been downtown, but fortunately there was no shortage of good spots to do a senior session.  Even though the clouds threatened a couple of times by spitting rain, the storms held off long enough to get the shoot in.  A good amount of time has passed since I did my last portrait session, so getting back in the feel of setting up poses and checking the fine details that come with portrait photography took a bit to get used to again.  Every person is different, and brings something new to the table, which I think makes the job easier for me, because I get to let the subject do some of the creating which in the end leads to an easier time for me, but also creates photos that reflect the personality of the individual and is not just an expression of my art.  Here are some photos from my shoot with Drew.  Hope you enjoy them!!This work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
