Day of Independence

The 4th of July is probably one of my most favorite times of the year.  Festivities fill the days leading up to the 4th that create great times and great memories...not to mention great photos.  I spent most of the day with my church's Young Adult Ministry cooking out and, playing:  kickball, soccer, football, and corn hole.  The weather was amazing during the games and fun which ended at 8pm.  We all got in our cars to head downtown...and the rain began.  Luckily it was short lived and it reduced to a drizzle by fireworks time, and the show was a success.  These photos are from both the Capital City Celebration that took place on the 4th, and a couple are from the Chatham show that was the night of the 3rd.  Praise the Lord for providing a time of rest during the summer to relax and have fun with friends!  So far this summer, fellowship with other Christians at church and at work have made this summer one of the best I can ever remember.  Hope you enjoy the photos!![slideshow]
