A few weeks ago we had the privilege of photographing our good friends Conner & Emily's wedding. One of the special things about this couple is that we've had the opportunity to do their proposal, engagement, and wedding photos over the course of the past year or so which is always super fun as we get to see the couple move from boyfriend/girlfriend, to fiancé/fiancée, to husband/wife. The progression is always a lot of fun!Despite threatening forecasts of rain and thunderstorms early in the week, the wedding day was absolutely gorgeous with a bright sunny day and perfect temperatures with just a light breeze. The ceremony took place at Allerton Park out near Monticello, IL with the reception following at Hawthorne Inn & Suites in Champaign, IL. Both venues were awesome, with Allerton having some of the best scenery around and Hawthorne having a nice and bright reception hall.The night was filled with all sorts of fun activities including surprise songs, dances, and speeches, along with awesome food and laughter. We had a great time photographing and hanging out with both families throughout the day.
