Chinese Lantern Festival

As I headed home from the Ozarks, a stop was made in the beautiful city of St. Louis.  Close to the hotel was the Missouri Botanical Gardens, and it just so happened that the Chinese Lantern Festival was going on there.  After an amazing dinner we headed to the gardens as the sun set and the lanterns were lit to light up the night.  Though it wasn't exactly what I had expected it to be, it was still interesting to some extent.  After a while some of the exhibits looked the same, but there were some that were still really cool.  A big one was the fountain, and the pair of dragons that were made out of actual, "china" (fine plates).  So here are some pics from that, hope you enjoy!Creative Commons LicenseThis work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
