Chicago- Millennium Park

Though The Bean is part of Millennium Park I decided that it deserved it's own post on the blog.  Now for the rest of Millennium Park.  While part of the park is under construction/being expanded, everything on the west side of the bridge over Michigan Avenue is still fair game.  As it stands, there are piles of snow lingering from prior storms, the grass is dormant, the trees are bare, and the fountains are off....BUT, this all gets hidden under the cover of night.  These shots are from a night trip to the park which was rather awesome and cold.  We ended up needing to take a Starbucks break to warm up during the excursion, but it was well worth it.DSC_4149DSC_4150infaredDSC_4158DSC_4159Creative Commons LicenseThis work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
