To Gungor and Beyond

Friday night came and break was winding down, but the fun was just dialing up.  Some friends and I piled in a car and made the trip to Decatur to watch Gungor perform at Four Square Christian Church.  Prior to leaving for the concert, we got our energy with a little dancing on the wii, sadly it was not Alan's day for the wii.  No worries, he was a stud of a driver and an amazing host.  The performance was not  a typical concert, it was more as if Gungor was leading worship.  There was no dialogue until the end of the show.  It was also broken down into three "movements":  Dust, Breath, and Beauty, where the third movement had the obvious finale of "Beautiful Things."  Gungor is a big promoter of World Vision and had a table to sponsor children, a couple friends were able to pick up and child and great things are sure to come.  A night of milkshakes, movies, and scrabble ensued.  We were also joined by Alan's awesome dog named Hobbs who you will see in a couple photos.  He definitely contributed to the incredible night and a great end to Spring Break 2011.[slideshow]
