Los Angeles & Hollywood

After working out details this morning, we decided to skip our journey to the Grand Canyon and just drive to LA early so we could get flight plans organized for Aaron/Gary, and get a chance to see the sights.  We all met Aaron's brother Colin who works at the local YMCA.  He gave us an amazing tour around Hollywood where we got to see many popular sights (see some pics).  Dinner took place at Souplantation, which was extremely filling and very good.  Tonight the group will crash in Colin's apartment, which will be quite a feat considering there will be twelve of us in an incredibly small space.  The group is very grateful for Colin's amazing hospitality, and willingness to help us for a much longer time than he had originally planned!  God has truly blessed us with yet another amazing host, as we prep for our work with DOOR ministries that will begin tomorrow evening with an orientation.  Keep all of us in your prayers as we prepare to help those in need, and pray especially for Aaron and Gary as they both travel tomorrow.
