Dad's Day Bball

The invasion of dad's on campus began late Thursday last week and continued on throughout the weekend.  Dad's were everywhere which was easy to notice since age of the average person on Green Street when from 20 to 40 very quickly.  Last weekend hosted many Illini Athletic events, one of which was the basketball game against Southern Illinois University.  I assumed this game would draw a slightly below to average crowd...I was wrong.  Assembly Hall sold out for the first time this season for the match against the in-state rivals.  As you probably know by now that they Illini prevailed in the match, commanding the game from the start.  Here are some photos of the action which ended with a final score of 85-63.[slideshow]Photos Copyright: JD Maloney and The Daily Illini
