Bloomington Gold Corvettes 2014

The Bloomington Gold Corvettes came back to Champaign again this year, and I took some time out of my weekend to head over and photograph them.  This time I went onto the judging field while the cars were being inspected which meant I got to see what was under the hood of these very well maintained vehicles (something I didn't get the opportunity to do last year).  It was really cool to see how "Corvette" was put onto some of the engine blocks and what the old corvettes looked like under the hood.  Also new this year was the C7 line of "Sting Ray" corvettes that looked amazing.  They were very sharp and the new style was very appealing to me.  There was no rain this year so I didn't get any cool photos of water beading up on the cars, however I think I got some pretty neat shots from this year's show.   Enjoy!DSC_7096DSC_7107DSC_7129DSC_7145DSC_7211DSC_7252DSC_7300DSC_7317DSC_7355DSC_7448DSC_7469DSC_7517DSC_7518DSC_7606DSC_7643DSC_7681 Creative Commons LicenseThis work by JD Maloney is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
